Glastonbury 2009

My tent, all tidy and dry on the first day, and survived intact the occasional downpour and mud splattering:

Collecting water, very organised:

Glamourous ladies of Glastonbury (soon to be muddy) on the first day:

Karen, happy and sunny:

Next moment, Jane sad and rainy:

The changeable weather made pretty skies though:

Found a diner:

And had a dance:

The slippery mud made it easier to do the moonwalk:

The Eavis sand sculptures:

Spot the pun:

Jane's having a good time:

I'm having a better time:

Surely you wouldn't come all the way to Glastonbury just to look at other peoples arses? At least their legs probably didn't ache as much as ours:

Lonely dancer:

I resisted the temptation to by a 'I was at Glasto when Jacko died' t-shirt:

Can't escape technology, even in the middle of a Somerset field. Here we are charging up phones:

A tribute to the dearly departed King of Pop:

I wish I'd had my own loo:

The Specials were amazing:

Jane joins in on her harmonica necklace:

As if harmonica playing wasn't enough, Jane's got even more talents!

Jesse is clearly impressed:

The Park:

Around Green fields:

Karen and Ivy with their new pets:

Putting our names on pots glazed with Glastonbury mud:

Back at the Pyramid stage...Interesting tattoo:

Emergency peanuts:

He looks suitably chilled:

Peace and love:

Karen makes amigos:

Florence and the Machine:

Waiting for Broooooooooooooooooce!

The Boss was smokin':

Chilling out amongst the debris on Sunday at the Pyramid stage where we saw Amadou et Mariam, Tom Jones, Madness, Blur...:

Susan Boyle threw her knickers at Tom Jones:

Let's give her a big hand:

Madness:

'Welcome to the House of Fun':

Blur:

Stella makes a new friend:

Yes we did enjoy it thank you very much:

Hiking my way across the site at 6am through the rain, on my way to catch the train home...it looks like the end of civilisation, I'm glad I don't have to clean up:

(Thanks to Jesse for additional pics!)
